How Frostdragon Tyrant Works
Overview
What Is the Frost Dragon Tyrant?

The Frost Dragon Tyrant (FDT) is a cross-state contest for control of the Frostdragon Capital. Every reign, Chiefs from across a Zone's states fight for the throne — and the winner is crowned that Zone's Frostdragon Tyrant, holding the title, its stat privileges and exclusive rewards for a full 30-day reign.
A Zone groups several neighbouring states (for example, Zone 38 spans states #3151–#3228). The more states packed into a Zone, the more alliances qualify to enter — so bigger Zones mean bigger battles.
State #3220 competes in FDT Zone 38.

Schedule & Phases
FDT runs in five back-to-back phases:
| Phase | Duration | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| Alliance Sign-up | 48h | The alliance leader or an R4 registers the alliance. Only the highest-ranking alliances in the Zone qualify. |
| Combatant Dispatch | 48h | Eligible alliances assign up to 60 members each. Joining after sign-up closes means automatic disqualification. Championship Prediction opens. |
| Eve of Battle | 59h | The wait before battle; place your predictions. |
| Battlefield Opens | 7h | Dispatched Chiefs enter and fight for the Capital. |
| Rearmament | 55h | The aftermath — participating states get Healing Speed +500% and Healing Cost −30%, and the new Tyrant can host a feast. |
Entry & Eligibility
- Alliances: every alliance may sign up, but only a set number of a Zone's top-ranked alliances become eligible once sign-up ends (the count scales with the number of states in the Zone).
- Members: an eligible alliance can dispatch up to 60 Chiefs during the Dispatch phase.
- Requirement: a minimum Furnace level applies, set by the Zone grouping.
- Deadline: joining an alliance after the sign-up phase disqualifies you — lock your roster early.
Preparation
Before battle, the alliance grinds Alliance Preparation Points. Every 50,000 points earned collectively raises the Alliance Preparation Level by one, up to a maximum of Level 6 — each level adds a Frostdragon-battlefield Infirmary buff for every alliance member:
| Level | Points | Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 50,000 | +100% Healing Speed |
| 2 | 100,000 | +10% Healing Cost down |
| 3 | 150,000 | +150% Healing Speed |
| 4 | 200,000 | +20% Healing Cost down |
| 5 | 250,000 | +200% Healing Speed |
| 6 | 300,000 | +30% Healing Cost down |

The Battlefield
Entering the Battlefield

When the battlefield opens, cities are dropped at random points around the Border Region.
The first 5 minutes are Battle Preparation Time: no teleporting, attacking, scouting or garrisoning. Use it to get your bearings.
The Frostdragon Capital becomes attackable 1 hour after the battlefield opens, and stays vulnerable for the following 5 hours. The alliance that dominates the Capital the longest claims the Tyrant title, and every member of the first alliance to control it earns a First Occupancy Reward.
The Capital & the Four Spires

Four enchanted Spires surround the Capital. Each opens on an alternating cycle — 30 minutes vulnerable, then 30 minutes shielded. Whichever alliance holds a Spire longest in a round earns a state-wide 30-minute buff:
| Spire | Buff | Bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Life Spire | Health | +50% |
| Dragonbane Spire | Lethality | +50% |
| Shield Spire | Defense | +50% |
| Blade Spire | Attack | +50% |
Cities in the Dragon Crypt area are automatically teleported to a random Border Region spot if they fall.
Occupation & Combat
Only the rally captain accrues personal occupation time — not the other rally members. Choose who leads your Capital and Spire rallies carefully; it decides who climbs the occupation ranking. If two Chiefs tie on total domination time, the one who reached that time first wins.
Gather Dragonite Ores and defeat Frostdragon Escorts on the field to earn Alliance Dragonites, which fuel Crystal Skills.
Key battlefield rules:
- Attacks on the Capital and Spires can only Severely Injure troops, never kill them; attacks on other Chiefs' cities can kill.
- Infirmary capacity is unlimited during battle, but new Severely Injured troops beyond your normal capacity perish when you leave.
- One squad per Chief per Capital or Spire fight at a time.
- Successful city attacks give no plunder.
- Cities burn much faster here; a city left burning is force-teleported to the Border Region.
- You may leave mid-battle, but must wait 10 minutes before re-entering.
- Presidential titles and skills, Pets, VIP, personal and alliance tech, and skins all apply as normal.
Crystal Skills

R4/R5 alliance officers on the field spend Alliance Dragonites to deploy Crystal Skills, each granting every alliance member on the battlefield a temporary boost. Skills have individual Dragonite costs and cooldowns, and cannot be deployed once the Capital battle ends.
- Dragonblood Ward (10m): if the alliance wins the fight, 50% of members' severely-injured troops in Capital/Spire battles are instantly healed for the next combat.
- Dragonic Revival (10m): 50% of casualties taken attacking another Chief's city survive as severely injured instead.
- Dragonbone Shackle (10m): a member's city win force-teleports the loser to the Border Region and blocks their teleport for 10 minutes.
- Wyrmbreath Hold (10m): defending members in a city deal 50% more deaths and take 50% fewer severe injuries.
- Dragonscale Aegis (30m): Capital and Spire defenders gain +15% Attack and Defense.
- Drakecrest Banner (30m): +30% Rally Capacity.
- Swift Emberwing (10m): +100% solo march speed for troops deployed while active.
- Dragonclaw Rupture (10m): +50% Dragonite gathering speed.
Rewards

The crowned Tyrant holds a 30-day package:
- Exclusive Skins (auto-applied): Dragonhold (city, Attack +5%), Frost Dragon (march, Hunting Speed +10%), Frostwing Phantom (teleport, Lethality +2.5%), Dragonis Dominion (profile, Health +2.5%), plus a Frostwing avatar frame (Defense +3%) and nameplate.
- Exclusive Title: Attack, Defense, Lethality and Health +10% and Troop Deployment Capacity +5,000, stackable with other titles.
- Exclusive Pack: gems, essence stones, mythic hero shards, speedups and resource chests.
- The Tyrant can appoint four stackable sub-titles (Bloodwyrm Emissary, Firebreather Vanguard, Scaled Guardian, Dragontooth Governor) and grant Commendation Chests to loyal Chiefs.
Occupation Ranking rewards go by personal Capital-occupation time, with Honor Points for the top ranks:
| Occupation Rank | Honor Points |
|---|---|
| Rank 1 | 5 |
| Ranks 2–3 | 2 |
| Ranks 4–10 | 1 |
| Ranks 11–20 | — |
| Ranks 21–50 | — |

During the Eve of Battle you can wager on the outcome with Dragonmarks — earned from the Daily and Season missions in the Frostwind Journey tab.

The Feast

Once crowned, the Tyrant may host a single state-wide feast per reign — the Tyrant's Gift. It lasts 1 hour, cannot be cancelled, and needs Furnace Lv.13+ to join (with 3 dining squads).
Diners pick a table — better tables pour better food and rewards:
| Table | Seats |
|---|---|
| Royal | 6 |
| Noble | 10 |
| Elegant | 24 |
| Classic | 30 |
During the feast every Chief can give 5 likes a day, and each like hands out a gift. The feast is claimable only inside the Tyrant's own state.
Rankings
FDT tracks three personal ladders during the event: your Occupation Time ranking, your Points ranking, and your Alliance ranking. Ranking rewards are mailed out after the Frostdragon Capital battle ends.
Past Tyrants are recorded in each Zone's Hall of Fame.
